I’m a documentary and portrait photographer born in Brighton, UK, and currently based in Cardiff, Wales, UK. I am currently studying Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales which was established by David Hurn in 1976. My works are focused on people and place with the projects I produce usually coming from a more visceral approach. I enjoy collaborating with the people I photograph, giving a sense of shared authorship. Moving forward I would like to integrate education into my practice, teaching photography to children and marginalized communities.
In 2020, I was announced as a winner of the British Journal of Photography, Portrait of Britain prize and was published in the Portrait of Britain book published by Hoxton Mini Press. My image was also a part of the UK's biggest exhibition which my image was electronically exhibited across the entire country via JCDecaux screens.
